RETURN RECEIPT REQUESTED

Office of Attorney General Bob Butterworth
State of Florida
The Capitol
Tallahassee, Florida 32399-1050

Dear Attorney General Butterworth:

I have respectfully implored Chief Justice Harding, in accordance with The Florida Bar Rules of Procedure, to grant my request for an acceptable and impartial panel to review the allegations I have made regarding the misconduct of The Florida Bar in its handling of my Complaint against two Florida attorneys. Though my request has been made on several occasions I have had no response. This lack of response supports what I believe to be a coverup of The Florida Bar’s undisclosed conflict of interest in their relationship with Florida Lawyers Mutual Insurance Company. Further to that matter, they are refusing to discipline an attorney who has been employed by Florida Lawyers Mutual Insurance Company as a defense specialist for them. Therefore, I am asking you, as the constitutionally designated Chief Legal Officer of the state of Florida to intervene.

I would appreciate knowing when I can expect a response.

Respectfully submitted,

Meryl M. Lanson
